Account data (email, hashed password via Supabase), food & nutrition entries, profile preferences, payment status from Paddle, and standard technical logs.
3. Purposes & Legal Bases
We process your data to provide the Service (contract), for security (legitimate interest), and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Sub-processors
- Supabase — Auth & Database. Privacy Policy
- Paddle — Payment processing. Privacy Policy
- USDA FoodData Central — Food data queries (search term only, no personal data sent).
Data is hosted on Supabase's secure infrastructure.
5. Your Rights

Users may request complete deletion of their personal data by contacting support.
6. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as the user account remains active. Technical logs may be retained for up to 30 days for security and maintenance purposes. Data may be deleted upon user request.
7. Cookies
VegSage uses a single session cookie set by Supabase Auth. No third-party analytics cookies by default.
